Okay, so that makes us sound a little like a As Seen on TV product or a mental “health clinic,” but the reality is, when people like you, they say nice things about you, and when they say nice things about you, it never hurts to make sure everyone sees them. We feel the same way, especially when the quotes come from this fantastic group of bloggers and online activists.
“The key to success is surrounding yourself with the best and brightest. Samsphere has done this time and again. I attended Samsphere Chicago and Scottsdale. There is only one thing better to be surrounded by the best and brightest, and that is to be accepted into that group with open arms. Sam Adams Alliance’s Samsphere did that for the Grizzly Groundswell, my members and myself. Essentially, the recognition and acceptance of your gifts and talents among the best and brightest in the craft is a gift that can only be repaid with excellence!… Samsphere graced me with the opportunity to meet face to face with my membership, gave us recognition and valuable training and networking opportunities that enabled the Grizzly Groundswell to grow and prosper. Samsphere, is truly Grizzly!”

“My participation in SamSphere has been very rewarding. I’ve learned new ways to participate in social media, have new connections to reference and have a larger network to help move a message. I didn’t know what I didn’t know until I attended SamSphere - and now I see much greater potential for my blog and for New Media in general.
Additionally, the relationships I’ve established with other participants help provide a ‘reality check’ to some of my ideas. It’s nice to know that, despite living in a very left-dominated area, there are others out there who continue to love freedom and liberty.”

“SamSphere is one of the most important programs going on on the Right. The Sam Adams Alliance is nurturing liberty-loving bloggers at all levels, providing opportunities for us to learn from one another and help each other out with local and national issues. I attended two SamSpheres in 2008, and they were among the best experiences of my year. Even after a SamSphere closes, the post-Sam networking continues to help us wage the battle for liberty. SamSpheres are invaluable, and I hope to see them expand in 2009.”

“SamSphere offers an excellent opportunity to make connections with fellow liberty-minded bloggers. Putting faces to names and online presences really makes network-building much more effective.”

“I attended my first SamSphere event in the fall of 2008, and bumped into many old friends from the center-right blogosphere, but I made a lot of new friends - all with the effect of vastly enhancing my networking. I’m particularly impressed with the broad diversity of folks involved - academics, weekend warriors, academics who are weekend warriors, concerned parties, and full-time activists alike are well represented in this group. We have lively debates and we are passionate about our cause. I love being a SamSpherian!”

“I am happy to say there is a new found hope and a highly charged movement that wants to take back America by promoting free market solutions, reducing the size of government, giving parents and children school choice, while making certain government is open and honest. These same crusaders are working hard to make certain the public can obtain the truth through alternative news and information sources, instead of relying on the bias reporting of the New York Times and NBC News.”

“I had run across the Sam Adams organization while participating at the Conservative Leadership Conference in 2007, but I really had little notion of what the group was about even afterward. Fortunately, I was asked to participate in the first SamSphere gathering in Chicago the following year. Even though this was the first attempt by Sam Adams to consider what the blogosphere might do for the conservative cause, I found the programs interesting. But the best aspect has been the post event networking that Sam Adams has continued to nurture. In fact, this networking is precisely what the conservative cause needs to develop an organized narrative for the conservative movement on the Internet. I highly recommend Sam Adams Alliance and the SamSphere Internet networking efforts and feel it will prove to be an invaluable Internet tool for the conservative movement going into the future.”

“I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited to SamSphere Chicago. I should have known our problems in Kansas were not unique, but it was quite educational to meet others fighting similar problems with their local governments. I was glad to learn I wasn’t mostly alone in the fight.
“SamSphere Chicago, and later SamSphere Scottsdale, allowed us center-right bloggers to interact and share a number of technical tips and approaches to problems. Our Google group mailing list is a great resource for daily interactions on a variety of topics. After SamSphere Chicago , I converted to WordPress blogging tools (I want to find time for a better theme), and finally embraced Twitter and Facebook, which are not used that much among Kansas conservatives yet. I’m trying to share these web tools with friendly activists in Kansas now.”

“More than anything, being involved with the inaugural SamSphere in Chicago helped to energize me in knowing that I wasn’t a lone voice crying out to the wilderness. The sharp minds I have met, and continue to stay in contact with, provide an uplifting presence. After 6 years of blogging for, and by, myself, the notion that we are all part of a larger movement provides a spark, and inspires me to keep fighting for conservative values. I’m grateful beyond words to the Sam Adams Alliance for providing me the opportunity.”

“The strength of blogging lies in the individual talents and perspectives. But it’s the personal community of bloggers sharing information, insights, and best practices that hones it into the most effective communication and activism possible. Simply put, this is what Samsphere does for Right-leaning bloggers like no one else I’ve seen. From the original live meeting to the ongoing networking with like-minded people across the country, Samsphere helps to equip bloggers with important tools, connections, and experiences to make what we do more successful and more fun.”
